Learn Russian with Anna

Anna works so hard for me. I believe she must be the same for all of her lucky students. The level of effort she puts forth in teaching me is inspirational such that I put extra effort into my studying to help me be worth her time. She crafts all of our sessions together with such grace and humor that it makes the work of learning a language very fun. She is one of the smartest, kindest, generous and funniest people I have met. I have learned more with Anna than I imagined I could. I have laughed more with Anna than I have in years. Thank you Anna for your work. You are appreciated beyond measure.

I have been doing lessons with Anna for about two years. They are always fun and I never feel embarrassed when I make mistakes. We always laugh a lot and she always has thoughtful questions to discuss. Please take lesson with her if you want to improve your language skills but also learn more about the world 🙂

Anna is amazing at her job — my Russian has improved dramatically since starting lessons with her. Now other Russian speakers can finally understand me. Lessons always go by quickly and conversations are fun and interesting! I only wish I had started sooner. If you want to improve your Russian skills, I’d recommend booking a lesson with her ASAP.

I started learning with Anna and then 6 months later I got a job at the Russian government where I was selected for my Russian speaking ability, I don’t think I need to say much more.

Highly recommended. I have a massive weak point in Russian when it comes to grammar, however, after roughly 6-7 lessons with Anna I can already notice a real improvement for I find myself being able to tell which cases to use in a wide variety of situations. Even if you are fond of self-education like I was, it is really worth a shot since there is only so much you can learn on your own and having a competent teacher makes a huge difference.

I learn new words every lesson! I am spending less and less time in the dictionary and more time reading in Russian! Anna is so very patient with me and teaches me at my level while also challenging me and I love my lessons! Anna is the best teacher and always gives me the tools I need to continue learning even when she is not there, I could not ask for a better teacher because she is the best!

Anna is an amazing teacher! I cannot recommend her enough. We have been working together for eight months and my Russian has improved immensely in this time. She not only has loads of patience but seems to know just what I need, and when I need it, to to help me improve. Anna is such a good teacher, I always want to keep learning. She orders the curriculum so clearly that I am able to improve in grammatical concepts and am learning things I never thought I would get to learn. She is fun to talk to and work with and is very patient.

Anna is a wonderful teacher! We have been working together for around 9 months now and my Russian has improved immensely. When I began lessons I found Russian declension to be extremely intimidating and almost impossible to follow but now I have a grasp of most cases. Anna is also very good at correcting pronunciation and other issues with my spoken Russian. For lessons in both grammar and conversation, I highly recommend her!

Anna is probably the best teacher I’ve worked with! I started taking lessons with her in 2020, and since then I can definitely say I’ve made great progress. She’s an amazing teacher to help with building confidence in speaking, improving understanding of grammar points, and expanding vocabulary, and has an amazing skill to know exactly what level to pitch material and vocabulary.
